Hello,
I hope you are having a great summer! Like all of you, I have had a very busy one. Ginny Butcher and I had the opportunity of a big art show in Scottsbluff during the month of June. We had about 60 paintings to create, frame and take to the show. Our cars were full of boxes of paintings from front to back and floor to ceiling! However, it was a wonderful show and I was blessed to see friends I hadn't seen for about 40 years!!! But I kept thinking, "Will I Be Ready?"
Right after the opening Ron and I rushed home to get our house ready for kids and grandkids from Nebraska and Pennsylvania. They were coming to visit for about a week. Our granddaughter, Abby, doesn't need lots and lots to eat, but Daniel is 16 and Jacob and Nicolas are 15 so we filled the car again, this time with groceries! I kept thinking, "Will I Be Ready?"
Now I am getting ready for two big shows that are just around the corner. One is through the Pastel Society of Colorado. The show will be held at the Great Hang-Up Gallery in Longmont, Co. through September. I hope to have two paintings chosen for this one. The second show is The Mountain Oyster Show in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have two for this one that I am working on and hope they will be chosen for the show. All I can think is "Will I Be Ready?" WE SHALL SEE!!! Wish me luck!!! Karen
